The Agentic Payments & DeFAI Hackathon wrapped up on August 10th, and the results are in:
$1.7M in transaction volume
874,594 onchain transactions
$1030 in onchain fee revenue generated
89 projects submitted
The infrastructure agents need to track activity transparently, earn, and pay already exists, and it's on Celo. AI agents generated $1.7M in transaction volume on Celo's rails using the network’s expanding infrastructure, including MPP and x402 facilitators. Stablecoin payments, verifiable attribution, x402 micro-settlements: the primitives agents need are here. Celo is where agentic apps are built, grow, and thrive.

Track 1 —Most Revenue Generated: $3,000
