During the Onchain Agents Hackathon, we've seen a new wave of agentic builders emerge on Celo: building payment agents, DeFi automation tools, no-code deployment platforms, identity-gated workflows, and more. Agents with genuine economic agency, stablecoin-native infrastructure, and mobile-first UX are becoming real.

Before we announce the winners, we want to take a moment to say thank you. To everyone who registered, showed up to Office Hours, pushed through the bugs, and submitted. You made this hackathon what it was, and the bar keeps rising. The next AI agent hackathon starts on the 1st of July, so your next chance to win is just around the corner!

Now, the winners are:

🥇 1st place: RemitRoute  $2,500
Always-on Celo agent for stablecoin personal finance: set one rule in plain language, and an onchain agent runs it forever with no signing required.

🥈 2nd place: AjoAI →  $1,000
AjoAI turns the rotating savings circle, Africa's most common informal savings institution, into an autonomous onchain agent inside MiniPay. 

🥉 3rd place: Monipay →  $500
AI-powered social payments layer that enables financial intents to be executed directly inside social conversations on X, Telegram, and Discord.

🥇 Spawn Protocol → $500
Self-evolving swarm of AI agents on Celo mainnet, each running a distinct stablecoin strategy & competing every 4 hours.

Prezenti's Frontier Pool funds the infrastructure that the agent ecosystem on Celo needs to scale: onchain identity and discovery for agents, agent-to-agent payment rails, AI-native developer tooling, verification and accountability mechanisms, and interoperability layers between networks.
