We have some exciting news to share: two agentic hackathons are happening very soon! 

Not one. Two. Celo is hosting another Build Agents for the Real World hackathon and participating in the Ethereum Foundation’s Synthesis hackathon. If you were curious about agents, this is your sign to start building. 

Agents are accelerating the development and adoption of onchain tools for the future, and Celo has the components to make agents truly useful for real humans. 

Congratulations again to the winners of our first Build Agents for the Real World Hackathon! You set the bar high, and we can't wait to see who follows in your footsteps to build powerful agentic apps and infra. GRANTS ARE LIVE — SEASON 2 OF PREZENTI HAS STARTED

Prezenti‘sSeason 2 grants are now available! If you're building for MiniPay, this is especially for you. The Prezenti Anchor Pool is an open application programme offering stage-based grants from $25K to teams with real traction and a clear path to driving growth on Celo.

The invite-only, Prezenti Boost Pool, fast-tracks proven projects from other ecosystems onto Celo, delivered with the Celo Foundation.

How to apply for the Boost pool?

Were announcing our Country Leads this week, who are supporting Celo ecosystem growth across the globe! These leads will work directly with top projects in their regions, and their recommendations will feed into the Celo Boost Grants process (invite only). So, if you believe your project is doing something special, make sure your Country Lead knows about it. They'll send their recommendations our way, and we'll take it from there.

GETTING YOUR APP LIVE ON MINIPAY

If you're building a Mini App and you think it's ready to reach 13M+ users, here's your checklist before going live:

  • Test your app inside MiniPay

  • Have at least 10 real users test it

  • Set up a Dune dashboard to track your key metrics: users, transactions, the works

  • You hit 10+ users and 500+ transactions

  • Your app can be tested seamlessly in MiniPay without bugs

PROOF OF SHIP

Quick update: the launch of Proof of Ship – MiniPay Edition has been moved to April.

In the meantime, we encourage you to get ahead by exploring how AI agents can accelerate your build. Builders who come in with a solid understanding of agentic workflows will be able to move faster and scale their projects more effectively from day one.
