We wanted to share a few updates from our side and give you a quick look at what’s coming up.

Team updates

Sophia has moved to the Ethereum Foundation, where she’ll be working with the Developer Acceleration team to help grow the broader Ethereum builder ecosystem. She’ll continue to champion Celo as a differentiated L2 scaling real-world adoption and building at the frontier of stablecoins, identity, and global payments. We’re super excited to work with her in her new role.

We have some great additions to the Proof of Ship team, stay tuned for updates. 

Proof of Ship

The start of Proof of Ship has moved to March. As mentioned before, this cohort will focus fully on Mini Apps, so now’s a great time to grow your user numbers, test distribution, and get ready to compete.

Developer Programs

Looking ahead, we’ll continue with Celo Boost Grants and the Celo Builder Fund, plus more activations around MiniApps. The goal is to help you shape your MiniApp into a competitive product with clear product–market fit.

What is going on this month?

We won’t leave you hanging. Celo’s AI infrastructure and tooling is evolving, and we have something planned for this month to celebrate. Keep an eye on your inbox and the @CeloDevs X account; updates are coming very soon.
